| I would like to thank you for all the help you provided in assisting us in getting our adopted dog. I was impressed by your commitment to go above and beyond even though the dog was not directly under your care. You even took time on a holiday to visit the dog and take photographs. You made it possible for us to get the dog we really wanted. All phone calls and emails were responded to promptly and efforts to learn more about the dog were made in a most timely fashion. We were also impressed with your professionalism. Our veterinarian and other references were swiftly contacted and the adoption went through quickly and easily. We found your web site to be a big help in leading us to our new dog. We also found it reassuring that you contacted us after we picked up the dog to make sure all had gone well. Should anyone ever need to adopt a dog, my wife and I would certainly recommend you and Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries. It is a testament to your commitment to placing animals in good homes that you went to such lengths for a dog that was in a home where it couldn’t stay. To make your efforts even more impressive, you did much of the contact work on Thanksgiving Day. We are most appreciative to you for helping us find a dog we truly love. She is just what we needed and we can’t thank you enough. How fitting that the adoption discussion took place on a day of thanks. Our Darcy has settled in just fine and is happy and affectionate.
